Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a security measure that requires more than one form of identification to verify a user's identity before granting access to an account or application.
MFA, or Two-factor authentication (2FA), can now be enabled on your Moodle site. After setting it up, an email with a code to enter back is sent when a participant logs into the site. The participant enters the code and is granted access to the course site. If at any point the feature is no longer desired, it can be disabled without negatively impacting the site.
To request this feature, email support@iuoentf.training or submit a New Support Ticket.
