If you're receiving email notifications every time a student enrolls in your course, you can easily turn this off within the course settings. Follow the steps below to disable enrollment notifications on a course-by-course basis.


  1. Navigate to Your Course
    Log in to Moodle and go to the course for which you want to disable enrollment notifications.

  2. Access the Participants List
    In the course navigation menu, click on Participants.

  3. Open Enrollment Methods
    In the top-right corner, click the drop-down list select Enrollment methods.

  4. Edit Manual Enrolments
    Locate the Manual enrolments method (or the enrollment method currently in use), and click the Edit icon (⚙️) next to it.

  5. Disable Notifications
    Find the option labeled "Send course welcome message".
    Set it to No.

  6. Save Changes
    Scroll down and click Save changes.
