Enable this feature to automatically notify learners when they are enrolled in a specific Moodle course.

How to Enable:

  1. Go to the course page.
  2. Click Participants in the navigation menu.
  3. Click Enrolled users and then select Enrollment Methods from the dropdown menu.
  4. In the Manual Enrollments row, click the pencil or gear cog.
  5. From here, you can customize the notification that goes out to participants.

Important:

If no one is enrolled with the Teacher role, Moodle will not send the enrollment notification.
To ensure the email sends:

  • Set the From address to the no-reply email.
  • If left blank or tied to a missing Teacher role, the email will not send.
